GEO'S SMOKED FISH SPREAD
  • 1-2 lbs smoked fish (skin off, de-boned)
  • 8oz Cream Cheese with Chive and Onion
  • 4 to 6 oz French Onion Dip
  • 1-2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1/3 red peppers, chopped
  • 1 - 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped with seeds
Mix ingredients with a fork then enjoy with favorite crackers
Ottawa Art's Smoked Whitefish Chowder
  • 1-2 lbs smoked whitefish meat
  • 2 1/2 qts. skim milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 lb frozen whole kernal corn
  • 1 lb frozen broccoli cuts
  • 2 lbs frozen diced potatoes
  • 3 med Roma tomatoes chopped
  • Put above ingredients in crock, add
  • 2 teaspoons tarragon
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal steak spice,
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry's seasoning salt
  • Simmer 2 hrs
(Add tabasco sauce to taste. )
